Who we are and what we do

The Law Firm d’Ammassa & Partners is active in the field of intellectual and industrial property and provides its clients consulting services and legal assistance on the Italian law and the Community law.

The firm deals with copyright and related rights, and has extended its expertise in the field of trademarks, designs, privacy and legal issues associated with new technologies. SLDA works primarily, inter alia, on contracts-drafting relating to copyright, related rights, trademarks, patents, know-how, as well as general commercial contracts; SLDA advises its clients about the choice of possible strategies aimed to protect their activities and provides guidance on business corporate forms in the start up phase.

To best assist their clients in conflict management, SLDA lawyers and attorneys have acquired the title of mediators certificated under the Legislative Decree no. 28/2010 on mediation aimed at reconciliation of civil and commercial disputes.

Our attorneys are actively involved, even as speakers at conferences in the field of copyright, privacy and new technologies; they are constantly engaged in teaching and writing articles falling on matters within their competence.
The firm operates directly on Milan and Bologna, and has qualified correspondents in almost all main Italian cities. The Law Firm also operates in English language.

The firm provides legal advice by email, telephone, via Skype, Skymeeting or by appointment in Milan and Bologna.

According to the client’s needs, the firm uses primary level external consultants with proven experience in criminal, administrative, tax and family law, to offer its customers assistance in all fields, but always with the best expertise and with direct, coordinated, continuous and personalized management of any case.

The firm exploits advanced IT tools for customer management and practices, and it’s able to provide its clients a web access to their individual positions, with a list of all the provided activities and accounts.

The members of the firm are enrolled ALAI, Literary and Artistic Association International (ALAI – www.alai.org), founded in 1878 on the initiative of Victor Hugo and other intellectuals of the period, with the aim of asserting and defending the rights of authors and artists.
